The British Council of Shopping Centres (BCSC) offer full
support to Child Safe Zones and invite all their members to
support the scheme

"The BCSC Security & Safer Shopping Committee, having
reviewed the Child Safe Zones service in the early summer
of 2004, believes that the initiative can significantly increase
awareness of child safety issues amongst shoppers in participating
centres and, when combined with existing 'lost child' procedures,
can enhance the speed at which lost children are reunited
with their family or guardians. Against this background, BCSC
is giving support to Child Safe Zones in promoting its service
amongst BCSC members."
