Child Safe Zones run a Safe & Found scheme at baby shows
Oct – Nov 2004 Baby Shows
Child Safe Zones ran a safe & found scheme at the Weston-Super-Mare
Baby Show in September. A simple, effective lost child scheme
was run over the course of the weekend. Every child was ‘tagged’
as they entered the show; the parents were asked to put their
mobile number on a child safe tag when they arrived and these
were then attached to their child’s shoe. A child carrying
a mobile number is the quickest way to reunite a lost child
with their parent. The smiley orange balloon was also on
posters around the show displaying a number to call to report
a lost or found child to the show security. The scheme was
received well by parents who loved the shoe tags as an easy
way for their child to carry their mobile number. Parents
kept the tags once they left so they could use them everyday
when out and about with the children.
Child
Safe Zones will be tagging children once again at the Brighton
Baby Show on Sunday 14th November.
Parents will also have the opportunity at the show to register
their family and to purchase Child Safe Accessories.
